Saxon von Schwaan is a gorgeous, large 18 month old black and red German Shepherd. One of our seasoned volunteers just said "wow" after spending an hour with him.  He looks like he's from direct German import lines. He has a marvelous confirmation. Saxon has  the most typical and classic GSD personality traits: he bonds deeply, he is protective, he has a high intelligence level where he is always assessing his environment and curious to understand his surroundings, and very alert. He walks comfortably on a lead.  He will thrive in a home with sound basic training, a savvy GSD home. He would do best in a home with no small children.
